Loup Loup is not the North Cascades Highway

Two different SR-20 sections get mixed up. The North Cascades Highway is the seasonal stretch west of Winthrop — it closes every winter. Loup Loup, east of Twisp, is a year-round pass toward Okanogan. When the North Cascades gates are closed, Loup Loup is still the Methow’s road east.
